FAQ

  • Is the Festival one day or two days?

The Festival is a one day event held on Easter Saturday. The fun begins at 10.00am.

  • Where in Donnybrook is the Festival held?

The Festival is held throughout the main part of town including Ayers Garden, Station Square, Egan Park Oval, Pump Track, Skate Park and the Amphitheatre.

  • Is there an entry fee?

Entry to the Festival is free thanks to our generous sponsors!

  • Are food and drinks available?

There are many food and beverage vans across several locations at the Festival. We also have a water station where you can refill your water bottle, thanks to South West Water Cartage. Local shops, bakeries and cafes are also open.

  • Where can I park?

Click HERE to see parking areas and the shuttle bus route. Our shuttle bus is free thanks to Royal Gala. It will cost $5/car to park in one of the locations shown on this map, with proceeds going to Donnybrook Apple Festival and Childside Boyanup P&C.

There are other parking locations around Donnybrook, be mindful that these will fill up quickly!

  • Can I pay for purchases with card, or do I need to bring cash?

Most stallholders will take card payments but we always recommend bringing some cash along too. Especially for raffle tickets, buskers and the odd stallholder who takes cash only.

  • Where do I go if I hurt myself?

In an emergency, call 000. For other injuries/unwellness, make your way to the First Aid Post on Collins Street. Check out our map for the location.

  • I've lost/found a child, what do I do?

Make your way to the Information Tent where a volunteer with their WWCC will handle the situation and organise announcements on the PA speaker if required.

If you are bringing a young child to the festival, consider writing your mobile number on their arm in case they do become lost.

  • Can I bring my dog?

We love all animals! However, given the large crowds, we recommend leaving fur babies at home (guide dogs and other service animals excluded). If you still choose to bring your dog please ensure:

    • You are aware of the areas where dogs are not permitted (Apple Fun Park, Egan Park and food van area).

    • Your dog is well trained and socialised.

    • Your dog is leashed at all times.

    • You bring dog poo bags.

  • What else can I do around Donnybrook?

There is so much to see and do around Donnybrook. Check out the Visit Bunbury Geographe website for some inspiration or pop in and see the lovely people at Donnybrook Visitor’s Centre.
